In a Nutshell...

Okay, the decision to move to Atlanta has sprung upon us very quickly and we have not told many of you what is going on. So here it goes...

Opportunity, Opportunity, Opportunity!!! Enterprise was not working out, so Tommy had been looking for another job. He found a job with American Family Insurance as a result of his Enterprise contacts and working on his shuttle business. That 'job' with the local agent sprouted very quickly into a handful of opportunies of which we felt Georgia was the best. Throughout this process, Tommy has still sought to become a Chaplain but the road has been slow going. We have not wanted to get more student loans to finish his master's and the military has been dragging to make their decision on our future, so we made it on our own! Tommy will continue to work on his Master's at Lubbock Christian, taking begining Hebrew this fall. We do not know all of what will unfold over the next few years, but we trust that the Lord will take care of us in the future just as He has in the past.

I never expect a lot from Walmart, in fact, I try never to go there. Today I added a few more reasons to the list. If you cant tell this is a postit note they put in my window for my next oil change. Sorry the pic is sideways... that's how my cell phone is!

Went to the Boy Scout Poineer Day Breakfast and then to the Travelling Vietnam War Memorial. I think we both cried a couple of times. GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!

Well Britt wanted to be up on the mountain when I went running Saturday so her and t hung out by the car and read books while I was out running. Okay, so only Britt read, but I am sure t loved every minute of it!

Thomas Allen Schlosser, III., aka Little t. Was born June 18, 2009 at 5:22 PM. This was just after being cleaned up and taken back to mom. He weighed in at 8lbs 9ozs and was 20in long.

Practice Pushing!

 
I ask Britt after a few contractions, how it was going to look when she started pushing. She said, "Something like this!" For the most part she was able to keep a pretty good sense of humor for the whole delivery. Thank you, Epideral!

Blind Contour

 
Just wanted to show off some of the artwork of Britt's Students. This is a blind contour, the students cannot look down at the paper or pick up the pen. They had to remain focused on the person in front of them... and that is pen! What a good little art teacher and soon to be mom we have!

Well I didn't harvest a turkey this year, but the few times we went out they were fun. All I have to say about not getting a turkey is; 'Thanks, Sis Larson.'
