Well now that my hunter's safety is complete, I can put in for the Big Game drawings here in Utah. This year, I put in for limited entry archery, Elk and general rifle, Deer. I also put in for one of my once in a lifetime hunts for a Mountain Goat. This picture looks about like one that I would like to harvest.

We deliberated for several days if we should put this photo on the blog. The ultimate decision was that by the time he would be old enough to be embarrassed by such a picture that there would probably be other, more embarrassing photos. In short, we are excited. From the ultrasound, he is doing fine. Britt is still mostly over getting sick. She tends to have some reflux issues at night, but all in all better than a month or so ago. The due date is still June 18th. We will continue to keep you informed as things progress.

Well, I have caught hunting fever. In addition to my own hunter safety course that I took online, I also took my nephew to his class a few nights this week. On the first night the instructor talked about the importance of the NRA, the Rocky Mounatin Elk Foundation, amongst other clubs. So when I got home, I decided that I wanted to protect my ability to own firearms.

For those of you that use MSN Messenger, we just started logging in under Britt's e-mail address. We are in the process of setting up our webcam as well, so we will be able to keep in better contact with my siblings. If you do not have Britt's e-mail let me know.
