Yeah, how cool is this? We had a little get together with some families from church and the Kindt's brought this! It was a hit.

This has become a famous landmark in Marietta. Look at any map of the area and it will simply say, 'Big Chicken.' You cannot tell from this still frame, but it actually moves. The beak opens and closes and the eyes rotate. It is some sight!

The Coveted Bag!

 
For our date night on Friday, it was the first time we left t with someone other than family! We went to Applebee's and then to the First-Friday Artwalk. When we got there we found out you could earn a FREE Bag... we jumped through some hoops and actually got one in the nick of time. Britt was so happy! Thank you Joe & Carrie!

T misses the fam!

So I told T to talk to the family and tell everyone that he loves them and misses them and cant wait to see them again or for the first time. He obviously had a lot to say and it sounds like he misses everyone terribly.

We actually should have turned the camera around and got a pic of all the people behind us... it was crazy!!! It was cool to see all the furniture and housewares, but my goodness it was like a train wreck. Moral of the story...instead of Saturday Afternoon, try Monday morning! Found some cool lamps that we needed for our dimly lit apartment... pics to come.

Made some homemade pizzas the other night... Britt made the dough from sratch and though the imatation cheese we used was not the best they were still so good!!!

In a Nutshell...

Okay, the decision to move to Atlanta has sprung upon us very quickly and we have not told many of you what is going on. So here it goes...

Opportunity, Opportunity, Opportunity!!! Enterprise was not working out, so Tommy had been looking for another job. He found a job with American Family Insurance as a result of his Enterprise contacts and working on his shuttle business. That 'job' with the local agent sprouted very quickly into a handful of opportunies of which we felt Georgia was the best. Throughout this process, Tommy has still sought to become a Chaplain but the road has been slow going. We have not wanted to get more student loans to finish his master's and the military has been dragging to make their decision on our future, so we made it on our own! Tommy will continue to work on his Master's at Lubbock Christian, taking begining Hebrew this fall. We do not know all of what will unfold over the next few years, but we trust that the Lord will take care of us in the future just as He has in the past.

An all new low... and I do not mean price!!!

I never expect a lot from Walmart, in fact, I try never to go there. Today I added a few more reasons to the list. If you cant tell this is a postit note they put in my window for my next oil change. Sorry the pic is sideways... that's how my cell phone is!
