One Hundred Years Ago Tonight (08/20/1911), at 7PM to be precise, the 1st Round-The-World telegraph was sent by the New York Times. It read simply, “This Message Sent Around the World.” It took 16½ minutes to make the 28,000 mile journey back to New York. In Today’s Media of Twitter it would be a 35 character message and could travel around the World in about as many seconds. Here’s the simple 35 character message I would send around the World… “I Believe in Christ, He is my King!”
